Privacy policy & notice at collection

From landlords who post a rental: contact name, email address, optional phone number, the rental's street address, city, state, ZIP and neighborhood, price, photos you upload, and the details you type into the listing form. We do not collect government IDs, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information.

From coaches who browse: no account or profile. When listings or contact details are viewed, we keep a security log containing the date, the listing viewed, a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, and your browser type. There is no advertising, analytics profile, or tracking pixel.

From privacy requests: the name, email and details you submit on the request form.

To display rentals to Team Palisades Tahoe coaches and let them contact the landlord, to send landlords their private management link, to protect the board against misuse, and to respond to privacy requests.

Landlord contact details are shown only to coaches who enter the shared access password. We use service providers under contract to host the site and database and to send email; they may use the data only to provide those services. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we never have.

• Active listings: until the landlord changes or deletes them.
• Listings marked Pending or Rented: permanently deleted, including contact details, after 150 days without changes.
• Deleted listings: contact details are removed from our database immediately.
• Security log: scrambled IP and browser details are removed after 30 days; the rest of the log entry is deleted after 365 days.
• Privacy requests: kept for 24 months to document our response, as required by law.

We use one essential cookie that remembers a coach has entered the access password. It contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or advertising. Because we do not track visitors across sites, our site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal.

You may ask to know, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you will not be treated differently for doing so. Landlords can delete a listing instantly from their management link. For anything else, submit a privacy request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We verify requests by confirming control of the email address used on the listing and respond within 45 days.

This board is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
